ALPHA PRIVACY · 25 OCTOBER 2026

Your data,
your choice.

What we store

When you sign in, we store your verified email and a site-specific sign-in identifier. When you apply, we also store your callsign, hardware details, experience, availability, optional notes, application status and invitation link. Submitted feedback includes the build ID, category and report text.

Why and who can see it

We use this information to select and support testers, provide download invitations and improve the game. Application details, download keys and reports are visible to the developer and your own signed-in account, not other applicants. The site is hosted through OpenAI Sites with Cloudflare storage; tester sign-in uses one-time email links delivered through Resend. Resend receives your email address and the sign-in message; it does not receive your application or game feedback. Developer access remains protected by ChatGPT sign-in. Downloads and optional support are handled separately by itch.io and its payment providers under their policies.

Sign-in and security

Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and work once in the browser that requested them. We store hashes of link and session tokens, rather than the original credentials. A secure, essential cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. Sign out on shared devices. To limit abuse, short-lived request counters use keyed hashes of email and network addresses; these counters expire within one day. Expired records are removed on later sign-in requests. Email delivery providers may retain delivery logs under their own policies. Login links contain a secret: do not forward them.

Control and deletion

You can update a pending application or delete your application and website feedback in the tester portal. Email support about corrections or other deletion requests. Claimed itch.io keys and itch.io/payment records must be handled separately. We do not use applications as a marketing mailing list or sell application data.

Diagnostics

The game’s F8 reports are saved locally. Review them before voluntarily emailing files; they can contain save data and local paths. This website does not automatically upload your game files. Do not submit passwords, financial information or unrelated personal data.

Payments

This website does not collect payment-card details. Optional support never buys an alpha place, a finished game or guaranteed future content.
